Congregational Reports Due to the Synod by Feb. 15, 2024
On Wednesday, December 13, the ELCA churchwide organization sent out an email to ELCA congregations and worshiping communities, describing the Annual Congregation Report process and key dates for the new data year.
The email included a link to elca.org/reportinstructions which includes a generic version of the 2023 Form A, the instructions to complete the form, and the financial stewardship worksheet (available as a PDF and a fillable Excel file).
The email did not contain the 2023 passwords congregations and communities use to file their reports online. These passwords will be provided to congregations and communities as part of a packet sent through the mail. The packet should arrive mid-January.
As an additional backup, the online system for 2023 includes a password request system. Congregations and communities that are unable to locate their password can request that it be sent to the email address they have on file with the churchwide organization.
The online system for 2023 will open mid-January.
