The La Crosse Area Synod is one of 65 synods in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. There are 38,100 baptized members in the synod and 74 churches. The synod covers an area from Blair, Wis. to Wauzeka, Wis. and Caledonia, Minn. to Rome, Wis.
