SHARING STORIES and SONGS
A La Crosse Area Synod Gathering to Remember Benjamin Larson
will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church, 1931 Loomis St., La Crosse, WI
On April 11, 2010 at 5pm with a time of coffee-fellowship to follow.

Ben's parents, April and Judd, and family look forward to this time to be surrounded by the community that knew, loved and formed Ben over the last 18 years. Those who were touched by Ben in a special way are encouraged to submit stories (via regular mail or e-mail to the synod office) of Ben's impact on their life and/or congregation. All of the stories will be compiled and given to Ben's family as a gift. Please submit your story before April 1, 2010. Some of the stories will be shared at the program on April 11. In addition, some of the songs Ben wrote will be included in the program, as well as other songs of resurrection hope and joy. If you have questions, please direct them to Pr. In memory of Ben, the La Crosse Area Synod Council, at its January meeting, established a memorial fund to be open through the rest of the school year, with all gifts going to the general fund of Wartburg seminary. These difficult economic times have been especially hard on all of our seminaries, and we wish to give them our assistance in honor of Ben. Please make your gift payable to "La Crosse Area Synod" and write "Ben Larson--Wartburg" in the memo. Send your check to the synod office, 2301 South Ave., La Crosse, WI, 54601. Your entire gift will be given to Wartburg seminary.
