2012 YOUTH MINISTRIES DELEGATION to PERU

ELCA Missionaries in Peru

  • Rev. Dana Nelson and husband, Thomas Ososki – serving the Iglesia Luterana Evangelica Peruana (ILEP), our companion synod in Peru, since July 2007, developing Word & Sacrament Ministry in new mission starts, as well as assisting ILEP in their mission strategy.  Their home synod is the St. Paul Area Synod.  They have two children, Tana and Anthony.  Read current Pr.   • Learn more about our companions in ILEP (Peruvian Evangelical Lutheran Church).  In June 2009 at an election during their annual assembly, Armando Capcha was named the new President of ILEP.

2010 Delegation to Peru

In the summer of 2010 a delegation of eight synod members visited the Peruvian Evangelical Lutheran Church (ILEP) on behalf of the La Crosse Area Synod, to grow the relationship between the two church bodies.
