Pastor Elly McHan in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Jordan and the Holy Land
Ordained on Aug. 15, 2010 at First Lutheran, Onalaska, Pr. McHan has begun serving in her first call as Pastor and Communications Assistant. She will assist with communications coming from and going out to the English speaking world and will be working closely with Bishop Munib Younan, bishop of the ELCJHL and also newly elected president of the Lutheran World Federation.
Pr. McHan is a daughter of the synod, with her father, Breck McHan, former Administrative Pastor at First Lutheran in Onalaska. Elly has been involved, often sharing her musical talents, at various synod events over the past several years and attended Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque.
